Playroom Redesign

One of our best friends asked us to help re-design her playroom. We truly love doing these projects! Here’s the space before:

Super cute right?! Love love the layout and loft style of the space. We are a little cube storage crazy when it comes to organizing the kids toys but it really is super helpful in keeping a space de-cluttered. Its also easy for the little ones to access and put things away. We bought two storage cubes to place horizontally and a bunch of bins to place every other cube. We organized the books on the back shelf display and mixed some bins in there as well. We typically use bins for items are that are less appealing to the eye.

Next we put up the most adorable wallpaper which was ordered here from Etsy. It is great quality and was relatively easy to line up the pattern. Once we got into a groove of knowing where/which dogs lined up we moved pretty quick.

The last part of the playroom redesign was adding an upholstered cushion. We used a Queen size mattress topper because it was the most cost efficient for that size. We used an upholstery gun to staple it to the top wood board of the bench.
