Kitchen Refresh

This project was one of our favorites because we surprised our Dad while he was out of town! He had his cabinets painted years ago, from afar they didn’t look too bad but they were chipping and the color of the cabinets and wall paint made the kitchen seem dark. Paint has the amazing ability to completely change a space and add dimension to a room. From a cost perspective paint is such an easy way to refresh a space without breaking the bank. New kitchen cabinets can be costly.

The new color of the cabinets enhanced the hardware that was already on the cabinets so we didn’t do anything with those. In addition to painting the cabinets we painted the wall above the cabinet and the backsplash. The last update we made was the light fixture over the dining table. Here are pictures before & after 🙂
